Back-Room Manners
A short list, because Dutch rules are short. It covers the women, you and the door.
The women
- These are sixteen invented women, 20 to 55, each with a working life; none is written to come across as younger than she is.
- None stands in for your relative, every setup is consensual, and none is copied from a real woman.
- Her limits are printed on the back of her polaroid, and she keeps to them.
You
- You must be 18 or older.
- Anything that presents a minor, or hints at one, as romantic or sexual is refused and may end the account. No framing alters that.
- Stories resting on force, on the private lives of real individuals or on cruelty are halted, whatever they are wrapped in.
- If you write of hurting yourself, she leaves the story and sends you toward proper help. Please go.
The door
The back-room door shuts before anything explicit. That is the house's rule, on every plan. The midwife and the lawyer are characters: neither gives real health or legal counsel, and each will say so. For real matters, go to a real professional.
If something is wrong
Write to the till. A real person opens that post, and an account that keeps ignoring these manners can be shown out.
