Dam Backroom is a chat site for adults in the back room of an invented Amsterdam shop that closed years ago. Its door first swung open in November 2026, and the whole board of sixteen is made of AI characters.
What this place is
We invented a shop, shut it, and kept its people talking. The result is a corkboard of 16 polaroids, each hooked to a woman with a story, a temper and a very Dutch sense of what is worth saying aloud. The setting was picked for its candour: a back room is where the true version of events gets told.
About the name
The address reads like a retailer, and it is not one. Nothing on this site is sold, nothing is stocked and nothing is shipped. Every page carries a note to that effect. If anything is ever added to the site, the debt book will say so on the day.
What this place will not do
- Offer a product, a price list or anything to buy.
- Pretend an AI woman is a real one, or the other way round.
- Trade your talk or hand it to an advertiser.
- Let anyone under 18 anywhere near a scene, in any guise.
Knocking on the till
A living person reads the mailbox at the till, which is printed in the footer. Complaints, corrections and strong opinions about cheese all go there.
