Door Stays Shut
What is said in the back room is meant for the back room. Here is what the till holds, and why.
What we keep
- What you gave the book: an email address, first name, date of birth and gender, a password stored in scrambled form, and anything added at your peg.
- Your talks and her notes about you, so that she remembers.
- A cookie for your session and another showing that you passed the door sign.
- Payment records: the sum paid, plus the reference of the transfer. No card number comes near us.
- Ordinary server logs, kept for a short while for security.
What it is for
Running the chat, applying the manners and keeping the shop standing. Your messages go through an AI model, ours or one run for us by a provider under the same restraint, and software checks them for safety. Your talks are not sold, and no advertiser reads them.
Counting footsteps
A simple analytics counter notes how many people came to the door and the countries they travelled from. Talks themselves are never read by it.
Your controls
A chat's menu lets you edit her notes, copy the talk or wipe it. For erasing the account altogether, write to the till from your registered address. If your own law gives you more, tell us which and we will respect it.
